28th November 2022

Dear Valued Customer,

I write this letter to you today with the unfortunate news that due to global economic conditions, Redbird is forced to shut down. I want to personally thank you for your patronage over the past years and for allowing Redbird to support you in the great service that you provide your customers as a community pharmacy. We have been inspired by the ties we have seen between patients and their community pharmacies, and by the dedication each of you have to providing quality service to help your customers manage their health.

Since 2018, Redbird’s mission has been to support community pharmacies with all of their rapid diagnostic testing needs – from supplies to education. As we unfortunately wind down our operations, our mission now shifts to ensuring that you, our customers, continue to be able to fill those needs and supply your customers. With this as our priority, we will be following up with each of you as soon as possible with contact information for the supplier(s) who will be offering our products in the future. In the meantime, we will continue to fill orders at our low prices as long as we have stock. Please don’t hesitate to contact our customer success team or general office line if you have any questions or would like to place an order.

We will keep the software operating through the end of the year, but starting 1st January 2023, the software will no longer be accessible. Patients are encouraged to download their test results data via instructions that will be sent to them. Instructions on how to support them in this have been sent to your pharmacies as well.

Thank you again for the privilege to be part of your incredible work. We know patients rely heavily on their community pharmacies and we are confident that your customers will continue receiving the high quality support from you that they always have, and in doing so, you are improving healthcare for those who need it most.

Sincerely,

Patrick Beattie
